Personal Dictionary for Grades 1–3

My Alphabet and Word Book from Trumpeter is a personal dictionary and word-building workbook designed for young learners in Grades 1 to 3. It helps children develop their own word bank while practising vocabulary, writing and alphabetical skills.

The workbook allocates two pages to each letter of the alphabet. The first page contains words and pictures. Learners can write or copy the words and then colour in the corresponding pictures. In addition, each letter has an accompanying blank page where learners can add their own words.

This approach allows each child to gradually build a personal dictionary and individual word bank. As a result, learners can record new words as their vocabulary develops and refer back to them when needed.

Building Vocabulary and Word Recognition
